Dearest Arlo and Bird family - Being your neighbors has been a blessing since day one. We got to see you (Arlo) brought into this world and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen you running around the yard or driveway. You became great friends with my daughter, Riley. Seeing you stand alongside the garden to see if it was Riley and wondering if she would come out and play; which you know now, always and forever that if she was ALWAYS up for playing with her bff (Arlo). You brought her along on fun adventures to Water Safari and Billy Beez. She was always disappearing, throwing me into panic mode and then I’d realize Arlo is visiting grandma and grandpa Bird next door - of course she’s over at the Bird’s!
I hope God has gifted you a tree swing up in the heavens because He would know how much you loved one here on earth.
The Matwijec family, and all who have been blessed knowing you, know you were in fact a true gift from God. Your smiling face will be missed, yet never forgotten Arlo. Thank you for making the imprint that you have on my family, especially my daughter. May you rest in peace and look after your family from the heavens.

My little izzie was so in love with arlo. There was not a single day she didn't come home and talk about him- she even talked about him days he was not there. She is heart broken to say the least, and my deepest condolences go to the family of this sweet little soul. I pray for peace- me and izzy are deeply saddened by this loss and will continue to pray and keep arlos sweet family in our prayers.

Gryffin and I got to meet Arlo on August 15th, 2018, and in a rare show of brilliance I actually took a couple of pictures. Although Rob and I didn’t get to know him, we kept up with his whole life online and loved him from afar.

I like the quote, "It's not how many years in your life, but how much life in your years." It was inspiring from afar to watch your family give him as much enjoyment and experiences as possible - from backyard shenanigans to Disney. For the infuriatingly, unfairly short time that Arlo had, he could not have spent it in better care and company. Thinking of your family.
