Obituary of Kristina P. Schoff

Kristina P. Schoff, 53, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully at her home on December 29, 2020, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 26, 1967, in Rome, N.Y. a daughter of Darwin and Millie Trnchik Piersall. Kristina was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1985, she went on to graduate from SUNY Plattsburg. On June 15, 1991, she was united in marriage to Timothy Schoff, in a ceremony which took place in St. Joseph Church of Lee Center. Kristina loved the outdoors especially traveling throughout the state attending her children’s baseball and softball games. She was passionate about physical fitness and enjoyed working out. During the winter months Kristina could be found on Tug Hill, riding her snowmobile along with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Church of Lee Center, a member of the Lee Center Trail Busters Snowmobile Club. Kristina was employed by Black River Systems of Utica, she along with her husband Tim, own and operate Schoff Polaris, located in the Town of Lee.
Kristina is survived by her beloved husband, Tim, of Lee Center, her cherished children, Dr. Halie (Nick) Cieslica of Waterloo, N.Y. and Tyler Schoff, Lee Center; her parents, Darwin and Millie Piersall of Lee Center; a brother, David (Robin) Piersall, West Branch; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Schoff, Apopka, FL, and Christopher (Joanna) Schoff, Victor, N.Y.; along with several nieces and nephews. Kristina was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Sandy Schoff.
The Schoff family would like to thank all of Kristina’s special friends, for all the love and support they provided to Kristina and her family during her illness.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2020, at 4 PM at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 12 to 4 PM prior to the service. Anyone planning to attend is asked to please wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing requirements.
