My condolences go out to the family on the passing of Kris. I saw this obit late Saturday night and just sat there for 10 minutes trying to process it and it really still hasn't sunk in. Kris was part of a crew called the "Fun Bunch" (Judi & Betty) back in high school. She was just a super super person and along with our crew put in at least 5 strong years of laughing and keeping each other in line. When we went away to college we all wrote letters to each other(no phones, pre-social media) to keep in touch. When we came back home, we all made plans to hit up the "Bogie". We must have been there on weekends for 5 straight years. Kris was special. The whole crew set a benchmark moving forward as to what to look for in friendship while you were in college and basically life. I haven't spoken to her in a "minute" but those times helped shape my vision of true friendship and a wonderful sense of humor to boot. She got the nickname "woodstock" and always laughed about it. I hope she is still laughing looking down on us. We are crying but at some point will start to laugh again as the time passes. You have a beautiful family and we all miss you terribly.
Thank you for being you and blessing us with your presence. It was truly a gift.

We are deeply saddened to learn about Kris’s passing. She was such a kind and caring person and a devoted mother and wife. There was nothing she loved more than her family. The last year that I took care of Tyler, she gave me an azalea which I planted in the front yard. Each year when it blossoms, I always think of her. You are all in our thoughts. We are so sad for Tim, Millie and Darwin, Halie, Tyler and all the family. Doesn't seem fair she has left us all.
