Obituary of Danny R. McDonald

Danny R. McDonald, 66, of Rome Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on October 20, 2017, at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 23, 1950, in Carthage, N.Y, a son of the Neil and Lillian McDonald. Danny proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 - 1969. He was employed by Joe Stanley Paving in Schuyler, until his retirement. Danny will be remembered as a true outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his cherished mother, Lillian Berg, Rome; two sisters, Darlene Burns, wife of the late Patrick Burns, Paula and David Aregood.; along with several nieces and nephews "whom he loved dearly". Danny was predeceased by his father Neil McDonald and a sister Neila Barlow. The family wishes to thank Dr. Seedat and all the staff at Rome Memorial Hospital for the exceptional "care and love provided" to Danny during his stay at Rome Memorial Hospital.
