Linda M. (Aldaco) Chrzan

   Linda M. (Aldaco) Chrzan, 73, of Stittville, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born on January 13, 1951, in Rome N.Y., a daughter of the late Julian and Barbara Race Aldaco. Linda was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and was formerly employed by the Easter Star Home in Oriskany, prior to her retirement. On December 8, 1972, she was united in marriage to Eugene Chrzan in Holland Patent, N.Y. this blessed union lasted 52 years. Linda was a former member of the Stittville Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to go camping, taking care of her pugs and spending time with grandson. Linda especially loved music and the arts.

 She is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene of Stittville, a daughter, Salina Stooks of Utica; three brothers; Wayne (Mary) Aldaco, Terry Aldaco and Mark Aldaco; a sister, Joanne Deraway; one grandchild, Ian Stooks; good friends, Lorriane LeBeau, Karen Sutherland and surrogate daughter Sara Allen; along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Abraham House of Rome, 417 North Washington Street, Rome, NY, 13440.

   Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday from 3-5 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. A celebration of Life will Take place at 5 P.M.
