These are a couple of photos I love with Dad. The first is at Jake and Trudi's wedding. The second is in Oahu Hawaii when we went to see where my parents met, got married, and where I was born. It was such a blessing to go and see where our journey together began.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Grandpa. I appreciate Grandpa Paul and Grandma Ozie welcoming me to the family gathering and making me feel special by gifting me a handmade jewelry box or tailoring a skirt for Christmas. Everyone in Bodner family is so loving, kind, funny, and crafty. I can see where the daughters get their wonderful traits from. I've always cherished the time we spent together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. It was one of my favorite parts of my childhood memories and made me realize how wonderful American culture is. One of my funny memories with Grandpa is when my Japanese mother first met Grandpa in one summer. He was wearing a shirt and some of his gray chest hair showed above the shirt's button on his chest. When my mother noticed his chest hair, her eyes opened wide and immediately reached her hand on the chest hair since Asian people hardly have any chest hair. She had never seen thick chest hair before. We all laughed at them and it is still funny when I think about it today. I will miss you. Thank you very much for the kindness and fun memories! The photo is from the 2012 Christmas at the Chandlers. Lots of love, Ayumi

Uncle Paul was a great man and uncle. I didn't get to see him very often because of the long miles between us.
I did get to visit them one time when he and Aunt Ozie's daughter, Tammy, was getting married. I was in awe of their home and church. I learned real fast that he was known and respected by the people in their church. I remember him sitting in his chair reading his Bible. I always thought his accent was so funny, since I live in South Louisiana! Ha Ha! I remember being so proud to know that he and Aunt Ozie were helping so many people after 911. Also, when they came here with The Red Cross after hurricane Katrina. They made a lasting impact on me. I will be praying for all of you. Sending much love, your niece, Melinda Blackwell Miller, and my family. God bless you all.

My sincere condolences to Paul's wife, daughters, and extended family. He led a life of accomplishment, faith, and service; his presence will be greatly missed. He was blessed to have you all by his side during his illness, and especially for the loving care of Pam, Tammy, and Robin during his final days. I hope you will all find comfort in the good memories, and solace in your faith.

I remember going to my uncle Paul’s & aunt Ozzie’s for a week out of the summer every year when I was a teenager. We also went to visit them every other Sunday.
