A memory I have of Cornell (chef) Parrish was from varsity football at RFA. We were doing wind sprints till coach got tired because we had a bad game or practice and I looked over to Cornell because we were all smoked and he had thrown up as I am sure a few did but he didn’t quit he got back on his horse no complaints nothing and finished the run for me as strange as is was it inspired me to dig in and finish

As a second cousin who resides in a distant state, I did not witness the successful adult that Tre had become. However, I remember the humble and loving spirit that I saw in him as a child. I can only imagine the positive impact he must have had on the lives of those he loved and served in his personal and professional life.

Playing football together throughout high school getting close becoming a brother, was always the guy everyone could go to always brightened the room once he entered. After high school going our separate ways no matter how long we’d go without seeing each other the moment our paths crossed it’d be this moment of joy and give each other the biggest hug.
