Obituary of Dominick Anthony Gerace Jr.

Dominick Anthony Gerace Jr., 66, of Rome, NY passed away peacefully on April 18^th with his beloved son and family by his side.

 Born on January 16, 1958, in Rome NY, Dominick was the son of Madeline (Klossner) and Dominick A. Gerace Sr.

 Dominick graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1976. He went on to work for Rome Strip Steel and Worthington Inc.

Dominick was a true outdoorsman; nature was where he found joy. He was an avid hunter, skilled fisherman, and a modern-day cowboy.  He was a member of the Greenway Verona Mills Fish & Game Club where he enjoyed the friendship of fellow hunters and fishermen. Dominick also enjoyed watching sports, he was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Pirates.

He was a member of St. Peters Church of Rome.

Dominick is survived by his son Dominick Anthony Gerace III of Rome; brothers Rocco (Mary) Gerace, Floyd and Robert (Karen) Gerace of Old Forge; sisters Sheila (Thomas) Sullivan, Barbara (Peter) Summa, Patricia Eychner (Joseph) Guiliano all of Rome, and JoAnne Grower of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews.
