To Rose’s Beautiful Family,
I was so sorry to hear your sad news. Rose was a beautiful person inside and out. I will never forget her beautiful smile. She was very dear to all. She was a wonderful teacher, highly respected by her colleagues. Memories of Rose at school will always hold a special place in my heart.

Rose was the best neighbor ever!! She welcomed me into the neighborhood, telling me to feel free to use her pool anytime!! We had many chats, always finding things to talk about. She was a kind and caring person!! She will be missed greatly!!!

Rose is forever my most favorite teacher. Her readings of Indian in the Cupboard and The Westing Game inspired a lifelong love of literature and were the catalyst for me to pursue a degree in English literature and writing. And after 35 years I can still recite all the way to #9 in the “One hen, two ducks, three squeaking geese memory game”. <3 Hands down greatest teacher.

I will never forget Aunt Rose's beautiful smile. She brought happiness and warmth to any family gathering, big or small. I will always remember my Aunt Rose for her strength and positivity. She will live on through the wonderful memories and lasting impression she has made on me and my family. I am blessed to have had Aunt Ro in my life.

Jimmy, Elyse & Jeff,
Your mom; my Aunt Rosie was such a remarkable woman. Her grace, inner strength, and fierce love for you and your families were evident in her actions and words.
I chose "Rose" as my confirmation name after your mom and have so many fond memories of her growing up when you lived on Dean Street.
She was always so kind, and even when she was angry or frustrated she was still able to speak in a kind tone and be gracious about other's shortcomings.
Most recently, I LOVED when she would come over to my mom's and sit around the table; drinking Gin Liquor, telling stories, laughing, and giving of herself to us.
That will be my "go-to" memory; her laughing, smiling, and spending time with us as adults.
This time is so incredibly difficult and hard to understand; why such a beautiful person here on earth was taken away. I hope you find comfort and solace knowing she was so incredibly loved and cherished by so many and that she is happy to be reunited with your dad again.
Her void will never be filled but her spirit will live on in resemblances and nuances found in each of you and your children and I hope the amazing memories you have will give you a bright light in your time of darkness.
I am sorry that I (my family) are not able to attend her service but know that you are in our hearts and prayers as you celebrate her life here on earth.
