Obituary of Yvonne J. Moylan

   Yvonne J. Moylan (Smith) 66, of Rome, NY passed away on December 16, 2023, with her loving family by her side at Albany Medical Center. Yvonne was the daughter of Walter and Beatrice Smith. She grew up in Oneida, NY and was a student of VVS schools. Yvonne was united in marriage to Dennis Moylan in 1979. Yvonne or lovingly known as mom or "Y" by friends and family, was the kindest person anyone could meet. She worked at many different locations in Rome NY, including Dandy Donuts, P&C bakery, FasTrack, Exxon and Rome Hospital where she was a CNA, a position that she thoroughly enjoyed. Yvonne would do anything to help her friends and family in need. She loved her friends, her family, her children and most of all she adored all of her grandchildren. 

   Yvonne is survived by her children, Dennis Moylan Jr. (Virginia), Shannon Moylan, Gerald Moylan, Monica Moylan (Adam Vaughn), Travis Carpenter, Yvonne Carpenter Josyln, Jewel Bryson. Her grandchildren Georgia Lindfield, Zackary Moylan, Shaylee Kiger, Kaiden Vaughn, Kelseigh Vaughn, Zabeon Carpenter, Zaniyah Joslyn Noah Rivera, Messiah Josyln, Mai'Zhon, Mia'onna Josyln and Nazir, Navi, and Na'von Zwiefach. She is predeceased by her husband, Dennis Moylan, her parents, Walter and Beatrice (Corey) Smith who adopted her as an infant, and a granddaughter Alivia Moylan.

   Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5-7 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Rd. Rome. A prayer service will be held at 7 P.M
