Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
On November 1, 2023, Neko C. Rayton was called home. He was
born on August 27, 1997, to Kesha Hawkins and Antonio Santana.
Neko was a member of Rucker’s Grove Baptist Church in Hartwell, Ga.
He was known for his bright spirit; he loved playing basketball and making music in
the studio. He was an adventurous little boy who spent his childhood growing up in Georgia and New York.
Neko was loved by everyone who met him, He loved his children and his family very
much and will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Edna (Big Ma)
Rayton and his grandmother Helen Hawkins. He leaves to cherish his
memories, four sons, Kai Synder, Javon Synder and Kayceon Rayton of
Rome, NY; Haiden Rayton of Hartwell, Ga; one daughter, Ahmaria
Rayton of Rome, NY; two sisters, Quantasia Hawkins of Syracuse, NY
and Shaquasia Patterson of Utica, NY; four uncles, Bobby Cooper and
Hennessey Hawkins of Utica, NY, Floyd and Brandon Ramsey of Hartwell,
Ga; one aunt, Helen D. Swain of Syracuse, NY; a very special cousin,
Antoinette Hawkins-Rucker of Hartwell, Ga; 2 nieces and a host of
cousins and close friends.
The family of Mr. Neko Christyle Rayton would like to express sincere
thanks for your every act of kindness shown during our hours of

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 3 P.M. at Strong - Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome.
