We are thankful and blessed to have had Patti Mason work for our VA Medical Center Fayetteville, AR in our Accounting Department from 2014 through 2018. As our Travel Assistant, she took care of arranging travel and assisting employees with reimbursement. She received many laudatory
compliments, exceeded expectations, and rose to become station Accountant. She was a quick learner, understood various policies and procedures, and before long was training others. She demonstrated such determination and drive in her profession, yet so patient and caring with everyone she encountered.
She was an educator, confidant, friend, change agent, bridge builder, policy interpreter, professional, caring, and Employee of the Month/Year 2015. Patti was all of these and many more to us. She left her mark everywhere she went and shared her faith.
We are grateful for the time we had with her even beyond her time at Fayetteville, AR. She will be
greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Patti was one of my best friends in high school, RCH Class of 1979. When I saw her at our 40th high school reunion, it was like no time had passed at all. We picked right up where we'd left off years before. It was so great to see her. I will always remember Patti as kind, patient, smart as a whip, very funny, and wise beyond her years. I worked with Patti. She was truly one of the kindest people I have ever known. She was always uplifting and was a friend to everyone she encountered. On more than one occasion she was there for me. She was always willing to listen and give advice on both work and family matters. The love for Larry and her entire beautiful family was always evident in her smile whenever she talked about them. She will truly be missed but NEVER ever forgotten!
