Dear Thomas, you had such a wonderful heart, beautiful disposition about you’re self, you have stayed with me when you came out of hospital one time, it was my pleasure to help you at the time, we have lost connection at one point, I went to ny baby-sit my grandchildren, just learning about you’re passing I’m so sorry for not seeing you for so long… I do have you’re beautiful Rosary’s you gave me long time ago, I will always treasure them, they are very special… may you rest at peace until I see you one day… It’s my strong believe…. Sincerely, you’re long time friend and co-worker…at KODAK…..

I first met Tom in December 1957 when I was assigned to the 6912th Radio Squadron Mobile that had moved from Landsberg, Germany to that famous Rhein town named Bingen am Rhein. I worked on Charlie Trick with him and for several months, before my wife and son arrived in March 1958, I roomed with him on the fourth floor of our barracks that overlooked the Rhein River and was named La Marne Kaserne. Tom was a first-class and well-respected analyst and mentor to us "new guys'. Our work site was above the small town of Dromersheim that was known for its grapes and our mode of transportation from Bingen to Dromersheim was by 6-by truck. One of the more famous of our organization was someone who you might know. Johnny Cash, who while stationed in Landsberg was a Morse Intercept operator and started a country and western band called the Bavarians. I last talked with Tom a couple of years ago at a 6912th reunion. But, every year we exchanged Christmas cards and when I got mine back this year I suspected something had happened to Tom. My condolences.

A lively conversationalist, Cousin Pat embraced folks from all walks of life. Generous, humorous, and well-read, Pat had varied and quirky interests--race cars, race horses, Apple computers, a growing Revere collection. He was supportive of every family member—and was a fixture at every important life event. He will be greatly missed!
