Giovanina (Joanna) Daniello, beloved sister, aunt and friend passed away on May 19, 2020 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential HealthCare Facility.
She was born in Rome, NY on June 24, 1936, a daughter of Nicholas and Francesca Piccola Daniello. Joanna cherished her memories of growing up in East Rome in her large Italian-American Catholic family. She was baptized in and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1954 and worked at Griffiss AFB in RADC for many years. In 1963 she moved to Los Angeles where she became a realtor, owning her own business: Pacific Heritage. She later lived in Las Vegas where she worked for the City for many years. After retiring, she came back to Rome to be near family. Joanna will be remembered by all of us as a fun-loving person who loved planning family get-to-gethers and she was always the life of the party.
