Connie "Babe" Darling
Connie "Babe" Darling, 68, of Rome, passed away on March 11, 2019, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. She was born on May 7, 1950, in Rome, N.Y. a daughter of the late Kenneth and Iva Bartlett Perry. Connie was educated in Rome Schools and attended St. Mary's Church in Rome.
She is survived by her beloved children, Tom Armstrong, Marqueta Armstrong, Kelly Bova (Dave Rock), Kristal (Kenneth) Dozois; stepchildren, Frankie and Maryann Darling; four brothers, Gerald, Kenneth Jr., George and Robert Perry; two sisters, Geraldine Civitelli and Eleanor Muscarella; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a long list of people who referred to Connie as Mom or Gramma. Connie was predeceased by a brother Maurice Perry and sister Lilian Perry.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5-7 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Funeral services are private.
