Obituary of James G. Morehand

James "Jimmy" Morehand Sr., 90, of Rome, passed away October 27, 2018. He was born August 10, 1928 in Canastota, son of the late James and Constance (Kerr) Morehand, and served in the United States Navy. He retired from Revere Copper after 37 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lynda; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and David Parker Sr.; two sons, James "Butch" Morehand Jr. and Michael Morehand and his significant other Lindsey Chapman; four grandchildren, James David Parker Jr, Kevin Edward Parker, Jason Michael Parker and Tiffany Marie Lynn Parker; and his K-9 companion Roxy Girl. He also leaves behind special family members, Tiffany O'Shea and her children, Kaleb and Kylie Roberts; Brayden O'Shea "Lynda, Lynda, Lynda"; and his former wife Shirley Morehand. He was predeceased by his sister Reitha Smith.
